Brick cleaning, replacement, and repointing

The brick on the front of our house and the house next door (we are in a semi-detached) had been damaged by water and time. We received four quotes for the job of replacing damaged bricks, brick cleaning, grinding out the old mortar, and replacing it. Carl’s was not the cheapest quote, but it was very thorough and addressed the root cause of the issue (water, bu re-routing some downspouts) in addition to the brick repairs and aesthetic concerns. Carl and his team managed to get the work done earlier than expected during a brief thaw. The work was tidy and delivered as promised, and Carl kept us informed of the progress throughout. We are pleased with the work and would not hesitate to recommend or work with Carl and Mace Masonry again.
